This Privacy Policy applies to Talktive, a secure mobile social residence developed by Le Wang. We understand the importance of your privacy and safety, and we are committed to protecting all residents. By using our application, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Age Restriction

Talktive is strictly for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly allow minors to use our service. If we discover or are notified that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their access.

Information Collection & Authentication

We use secure Social Sign-In (such as Google Sign-In) to authenticate accounts, prevent spam/abuse, and verify users. While your account is authenticated using your social identity, we do NOT collect, store, or display your personally identifiable information (PII)—such as your real name, email address, or phone number—within your anonymous personas. You interact in the building solely through custom personas without unique handles.

We do NOT collect or store:

• The IP address or exact location of your device
• Your name, phone number, or email address in connection to your chat personas
• The operating system configuration of your device

For service operations, we collect anonymous usage statistics using Google Analytics to monitor application stability and improve features.

Data Storage & Ephemerality

We enforce strict data ephemerality to keep the community fresh and private:

• Plaza Messages: Ephemeral with a 3-day lifespan.
• Lounges Content: Disappears automatically after 14 days.
• Private Chats: Permanent deletion after 30 days (unless retained by a Talktive Plus subscriber's preferences).
• Moments: Vanish after 7 days.

Child Safety and Protection

Talktive has zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We:

• Strictly prohibit any content or behavior related to CSAE
• Provide in-app report buttons in every section (Plaza, Lounges, Chats, Moments) for immediate reporting
• Review all reports promptly and take appropriate action, including permanent account bans
• Cooperate with law enforcement when required
